Context

Jobaway is a recruitment and staffing marketplace: employers come to hire, candidates come to find work, and the business in the middle also sells staffing services. Unlike Nokhba.ai, which is an AI career platform built around candidate matching, Jobaway is a classic two-sided staffing model, and the engineering reflects that: listings, funnels, dashboards and a service desk, backed by a proper API.

What I built

The candidate side

Job listings and detail pages with search, plus full authentication (sign-up and login) so candidates can apply and track their applications.

The employer side

A "hire talent" funnel that captures the employer's requirements and routes them to the staffing team, a "request a service" flow for the agency's other offerings, service pages describing each line, and a client dashboard where employers follow their requests.

The backend

A Node and Express API organised into controllers, models, routes and services, handling listings, applications, service requests and users. This is not a frontend mock with a form handler; the marketplace state lives in the backend and both apps read from it.

The portal

A separate sub-application for the agency's internal side of the marketplace, kept apart from the public site so its release cadence and access control can differ.

The Nicso Technology corporate site

The company's own marketing site (services, portfolio, team, blog, testimonials) lives in the same repository and shares tooling, which keeps the agency's public presence and its product in step.

Decisions worth noting

Why it is in the portfolio

It is a full-stack marketplace with a live backend, built for a company I am cleared to show, and it complements Nokhba.ai rather than duplicating it: one is AI-driven candidate matching, the other is the staffing business model done properly.

Next step

Have a system like this to build, rescue or scale?

I run technology for several companies at the same time and take on a small number of fractional engagements. The first step is always a scoped audit.
